Automations

Create or reuse links in a workflow

Create a short link

Create a new tracked URL from workflow values and pass the returned short URL into later actions.

Use an existing short link

Select a campaign, choose an existing link and make its short URL available to the workflow.

Workflow actions are available on eligible plans. If an action displays an upgrade message, compare the current options on the plans page.

Analytics

Understand link activity

Reporting can include clicks over time, campaigns, sources, devices, browsers, countries and referring pages. Country results are approximate and may be affected by VPNs, proxies, mobile networks and network routing. Country information is obtained from trusted hosting metadata where available, or otherwise through a local lookup using IPinfo data. Visitor IP addresses are not sent to IPinfo for this lookup. Availability and detailed-data retention depend on the active plan. Preview, prefetch and HEAD requests are excluded where they can be identified, although automated traffic cannot always be detected perfectly.

IP address data powered by IPinfo.

Troubleshooting

Quick checks

A destination is rejected

Confirm it begins with https:// or http:// and is a complete, valid web address.

A custom domain is unavailable

Confirm the selected domain is verified. DNS changes may need time to propagate before verification succeeds.

A link does not redirect

Check that the link is active, the destination still works and the account has not reached a plan limit.

Analytics do not appear immediately

Refresh after a short delay and make sure the test was a normal browser visit rather than a preview or prefetch request.
